March Goodness!

We challenged college campuses across North America to get in the game of Competitive Kindness®.

March Goodness was a social impact campaign collaboration between Kentucky Wildcat NCAA and Miami Heat NBA champ Derek Anderson and Xocial.

OVERVIEW…………………….

Activating students across North America, this is an example of a social good initiative branded around an international theme with an influencer and foundation beneficiary. In this case, March Madness, Derek Anderson and his Stamina (AOK) Foundation.

A gamified social impact campaign

A series of challenges were created to promote campus unity while bringing awareness to key social impact goals. Students were activated using rewards based contesting which increased adoption. Outside stakeholders including alumni and sponsors provided the grand prizes which included scholarships and donations made to top participants and the winning school.

Student Testimonials

"March Goodness is so important because this is a program designed to help make communities a better place. It gets the college students active... and really what this means to me is that I get an opportunity to wake up everyday changing somebody's life.

That's what I'm all about.

If what I'm doing is not effecting somebody's life for the greater good, then I don't participate in it."

" In the face of 'Me Too', 'Never Again', 'Time's Up', I think March Goodness is super important to our society today.

I think a little kindness and compassion can go a long way in the society that we are living in right now, and I think it's really important that people understand it's not hard to do a good thing... it's really easy and it makes you feel great..."
